Bolton Buggy Club Veteran makes the A final
Well after several weeks of getting faster I finally made the A final. It was great to be there but hard work staying out the way when being lapped by the top three. is there any tips on being lapped without costing me a load of time like last night?
Btw English cars are better than Japanese ones |

Not sure if I have any real tips. Just go a little wide at an the next corner and the faster car will generally slip up the inside, then you can cut back in and try and follow. Following a faster car will help you see where you are losing time, but obviously need to be careful not to take the car out at the next corner trying to keep up.
Lapping is always going to happen. A couple of us had a good battle for second last night and even though i thought we were pretty quick, we all got lapped by Mark! So its pretty unavoidable for almost everyone. All I would say is that in the A final I thought everyone did a really good job of letting cars through. I personally had no problems. Oh and well done on getting in the A, first of many to come no doubt. |

Excellent result Darren!! Well done!!
You have set yourself a standard now. No pressure for for next week My method of letting faster drivers through is to crash in a mutually convenient place. :-) Can cost time though unfortunately.......... |

Well done on making the A final, also congrats to Derick also making the A final. Nice to see a few different faces in the top final.
Must say by my calculation there were 3 2wd cars in the A last night Adam, Callum and Derick, fantastic result also looking in the B first place was Niall with his green shoe (Losi 22 see previous clog posts) so well done guys. Now for the some bad news (or good if youare lee) I will not be there for the next 2 weeks which means I miss the last round of the championship due to a poorley timed holiday (Damn familly!!!!). Although if lee does beat me it is down to the faboulous use of spider grip I have leant him. I am now preparing the car for the next championship especially now I have the slipper and diff properly adjusted. (I do have the spanners out tonight though ). I must say I still love my Japanese dragon and will be pushing for the big rsults after the holidays and getting the feeling Daz got on friday.

In qualifying i move out the way of faster drivers but in in
the final everyone for themselves. If they are a better driver they will find a way past you.Plus why should you give up the bettet line in a race. |
