Sadly it's Google that's good at Welsh, not me, but I think you probably guessed that already
The meal was good, but their attitude not so good. Basically, if we spent over £14 each on food, we got a free beer each. When we got our bill, we deducted drinks and were over the £14pp for food, so why no free beer? Apparently, we'd missed the £6.50 for the second round of mainly soft drinks, which brought us below £14pp (just). So, we said we'd order a couple of desserts, which would cost us £7 but save us £10 off the bill, but according to the waiter "desserts aren't food..." !? So we tried the "we're regulars, how about we split the difference?..." but they wouldn't go for that either. "Okey dokey, then we'll have some more popadoms" says we. "Sorry, the bill's been finalised" says chappy. So we paid (three of us by credit card) and left a 1p tip on our way out... |

It was rather petty of them.
I gave up on asking for their 'recommendation'. I could have done better closing my eyes and sticking a pin in the menu! |
