Default GTB fan

Just wondering if i have to run a fan on my GTB running a 6.5 motor

I would say no, but depending on your driving style and ambient temp you may need too, it cant hurt to run one

in the winter probably not, but on a hot summer day then it's better to be safe. You can get a smaller fan and mount it on the chassis if you are struggling for room under the shell
