I have had the Overlander for about 2 months and its been fine so far until just tonight whilst charging a 5600mah 2s it spat out a "control failure" error message which according to the book says it cannot control the feeding current and needs to be repaired?

I had seen reviews that pointed to a hit and miss reliability record but I decided to take a punt at the price it was.

Its easy to use (but could do with a longer power cord) and can charge at 7amps which better than my old one.

Overall I like it, its a bit cheap and cheerful as far as LiPo chargers go and was doing the job very well upto tonight.

Cool cheers

I went with a Core Rc One.

Lots of people seem to have them without any problems and there is a lot of negative reviews about the overlander one

Its still working but said it cant control the current feed so I am not risking it with lipos; called modelsport yesterday and a new one will be with me today with a pre-paid returns carton to send the old one back.

The chap on the phone said I had been unlucky, they use one in the shop and not had any problems. Mine must have been a Friday afternoon build.

cant fault the service from Modelsport. Like i said though its a great charger and easy to use, very fast compared to my old ripmax 4.5a jobby which I used last night to charge up the other batts which felt like it took forever!!!
