Default Novak GTB

General questions:
  • Can the Novak GTB ESC be used with all brushless motors?
  • What does "compatible with all Novak 540-size sensored brushless motors" mean?

I'm interested to know this too, especially if it's been tried with lrp x11's?

As far as I understand it the Novak GTB, is (should) be compatible with all sensor based brushless motors.

AND

That the GTB can handle the full range of Novak brushless motors from the 21.5t down as low as 3.5t

Yes, I use my GTB with a Losi 6.5 brushless motor, it was used with an Orion previous to me gaining it!

It means as it says- you can use it with any sensored motor from any manufacturer as long as it is 540 sized i.e. the size of standard motors.
The motors designed for use in 1/10th cars are 540 (the motors in the earliest days of racing were 540 motors from either mabuchi, igarashi or johnson)

Sounds like it might work with my Nosram Dragon 10.5 then - it's sensored and it looks like 540 size to me...
