Right then guys I am having trouble getting a straight answer out of anyone at the local track as to what compound of tire to run in what conditions, it seems that everyone has there own opinions on this as the answer varies soo much between people asked.
So can any of you decent drivers shed some light onto this mine field for me, and also answer me where do BB compounds fit with Schumacher compounds? Cheers in advance. |

i think you should refer to northys magic smoke belief cus it make as much sense the black art of tire choice is down to experience but most are unwilling to share some are are great some play there cards close

basically, if it is dry on grass or astro you want sch yellow. wet grass and astro then sch green or BB green.
sch yellow is the softest sch tyre, even though the compound "feels" harder than greens to the touch. BB greens are sort of in between sch yellow and green. BB pink are very soft and wear quite quick, but they can provide awesome grip on dusty bare grass and some astro tracks. everyone has their own preference so the best bet is try each of them and see which you find easiest to drive in each conditions.
