whos idea??

ok so whos idea was it to start over pricing FT shocks for both losi and AE

right now its 55 quid for a second had ft set of shocks

yet you can pick up a second hand b4 for £65

a b4 with out the shocks is worht a 10er?? really i dont think so
no one is selling full cars - just ripping the shocks off and making a killing

its stupid high demand rubish if you ask me

oh and by the way if you have a set of team shocks- all you need to do is spent a few quid on ft shock bodys strip your team shocks down- even RTRS and you can sell those bad boys as a full ft shock set and make some money

Any one else think this shock selling is getting silly?

its because you cant buy losi shocks as a set now, and with the crap exchange rate there close on £100 for a full set in parts

i can kind of see why with the losi shocks- but at the same time people ripping the shocks off there old xxxbks and xxx4 that have been in the atick for years and making more than they would for the shocks than the car is crazy

but FT b4 shocks are going for silly cash as well

all you need is the shock bodys- strip your b4 team kit shocks down and rebuild with the ft bodys - job done

Lee Farrer had a set of all 4 advertised on here earlier, brand new along with all the bits from a B4 that dont get used on an X6 (chassis, rear arms, tower etc etc) for just £70 the lot if anyone needs a cheap set (with a bag full of B4 spares to boot)...

70 for shocks and then bits i dont really want- yes i see your point there but at the same time its 70 notes i dont have

also if we are mentioning people selling stuff there is a guy selling a xx that has no shocks and he has stated he sold them on- prob made a lot more money for the shocks that he will the xxx

Indeed only buy the bits you really need.. If people are wanting £50 for the shocks I'd buy them from the states for that amount. Recently teamed up with a mate and bought a sh1t load so the delivery charge was nothing in the end.

I've got 2 sets of Losi shocks from a XX, 1 set that I've made up from a XXX4 for my B4 (haven't fitted them yet) and FT B4 shocks that seem to be working fine so they are still on the car.. (no I'm not selling any of them as I like options.)

I'm I looking at making a killing - no. I was planning on giving the B4 shocks to a mate.

It's like this make me an offer crap - stick it on ebay if you want to do that! My view is that it's people taking advantage of quite a few new people comng into the fold.. I haven't bought anything off here for while due to this.

Nobody sells stuff for less than they want, if you can get a good price for something you dont use, whats the problem.

I just put the bits i didn't use for the x6 up for sale for £70 its cheap for someone who wants the bits and it means i got the bits i wanted for £100, every one is a winner.

its all down to supply and demand , especaily on losi shocks , that is what is driving prices up , with people now using losi shocks on nearly every car going (latest being schumacer) and supply running low people can charge well over the odds for these,because people will pay for every small advantage on the track

that goes for anything & everything from your watch or camera to your car or house!

its the BUYERS that set the prices on used items as overpriced items wont sell! so if you see what you think is a bargain get in there sharpish
