no offense, but there are dozens of "what is the best 4wd/2wd" threads on here, they come up every week. Have a quick search and read through some of the other threads first, they may answer you question.

B44 seems a good choice to me. £100-130 second hand. Solid car throughout. Parts are easy to get hold of and the car isn't a pig to work on.
