Default Car running a bit warm

Hi wonder if anyone could give me some advice:

1) Ran my X6 sq on saturday and had a Novak L 7.5 go down, I've noticed that the car is running very hot - changed the motor and speedo to LRP, cut extra holes in shell - what else can I do

Gearing is 7.5R Novak - 78t spur - pinion was a 25 went down to a 22 - dont like it running this hot.

2) Can someone also advice if there are standard parts so that I can run longer axles ie losi spacers or something - car seems sloppy on rear wheels - parts numbers would be ideal.

Many thanks

I run a 7.5R on 23*76 and go up/down 2 teeth per widn from there. I cut out a reasonable hole size in the front windscreen on the car and put the number sticker on the front facing part of the wing if it's running hot. Cutting out the rear of the shell helps get the hot air out too. Lots of smaller holes do very little for air flow do to the resistance built up arounf the endges of the holes (boundary layers or something) so one large hole fows much more that lots of little ones.

Only other thing I'd say is how hot is hot? if you can temp gun it then anything up to 165deg F is fine and with a sintered motor should not offer any kind of performance loss, they thermal around 200deg F.

I don't quite follow your second question. The X factory longer axles, combined with the losi xx4 front wheel bearing spaces is what is ideal, I don't have part numbers to hand though sorry.
