Upside: paid for a stellamodels order for a tamiya esc and motor Friday night, arrives today
Downside: brightspark Parcelforce driver decides the best place to leave the parcel the entire day is literally in a pile of snow! So, I now have an esc motor literally so cold to the touch that handling them leaves condensation marks, other than rapidly rusting motor bearings (thanks Parcelforce) will I have any other issues as long as I give them time to dry out before using?? |

Report it to Parcelforce, as they are not allowed to leave parcels outside of a property, and you don't need the delivery drivers name, as the system will have recorded it.
As for the components, get some water dispersant on them, allow to dry, then test.

The postie put my Xcelorin system returned fron Horizon in the bin, then scribbled on the front of another letter that there was a parcel. Luckily my mrs noticed, as the bin was being collected the next day. It was supposed to be a 'signed for' parcel too. If he had put a card through the door it would have been better. You can imagine what I think of him...
I also got caught by Parcelfarce for vat on something from the states (which is fair enough), which came to £9.50. They then added their handling fee of £14 (normally £8 but it was sent priority so they charge more). You have to wait 2 days for the card to turn up so you know they have it, pay, then not get it delivered the next day because their system messed up. Day off wasted waiting for a parcel that was never coming. Even if the vat is 50p, you still have to pay the £8/£14 fee. |
