Default Ansmann ESC's

Quick question chaps... When a ESC says '12 turn limit' does that mean I can use it with motors that are lets say 19 or 24 turn motor but can't be used with a 9 turn...etc

Does that make sense ?

I'm wanting to get a half decent cheap and cheerful ESC for bashing around and was thinking of this Ansmann Sirius 12

Thanks

K

No idea if the speedo is any good but you're right on the motor limit theory.
