Default which brushless motor
Hi All

As we are advancing to Brushless motors and the choice is just so vast which brands would you all recommend for 17.5 and 13.5?

At the moment i have a Fantom racing ION 13.5 with a spare 13mm rotor

It really depends on your budget and what you want to use it for. Low to mid budget Losi Xcelorin are quite popular.

Which class? If it's on-road I would recommend Tekin at present. HTH

I am currently running the novak ballistic motors and find them great. 1 big plus point is that you can change the stator in the motor to any available wind, so you can just buy a stator to change motor rather than buy a complete motor.

Thanks everyone, i race on prima felt GT carpet, but got to admit the novak ballistic motors have caught my eye

I have used Novak, Losi and Speed Passion...

Speed Passion v 3.0 are the best IMO, esp with the plugs, as it makes replacement/changing of a motor very easy!

I run a 13.5 with a GM120 Speedo in my Mi4LP for stock racing and it's ballistic
