Default Noisey brushless motor

Ello all

My speed passion motor has started to become really loud. It still runs but sounds like a tractor.

It doesnt seem to be the bearings as i have taken it to bits and they seem fine.

Looking at it closley it seems that the shaft isnt keeping straight when rotating. The motor has just been in my tc so i cant see why / how the main rotor could have warped

Any tips or advice is appreciated

Cheers

I had exactly the same problem with my LRP Vecotr X12 8.5 Octa Wind after 5 minutes of running. Took it apart and it seemed the rotor wasn´t centered anymore. I don´t know why this happened, i returned it to LRP and they repaired it (changed motor and bearings).
How many runs have you had with this motor or was it just from the beginning like in my case?

I've had a good few months of racing (about 100 races) I won the A-Final with it on thursday but it sounds pretty bad

I imagine its best to just buy a new one than to send it to speed passion (dont know if I have a warranty card anymore).

Take your rotor out and roll it on a flat table (obviously far away from anything ferrous). If the end of the shaft moves up and down, your shaft's bend. You can probably just buy a new rotor.
