Has any one ever sent a nosram storm to Mirage to be repaired after the shaft comes out the back end bell.
This happened to me yesterday and their saying they dont even look at faulty motors over 6 month old. |

So i stripped it down and look what had gone wrong. The shaft had come loose form inside the rotor and melted throught he back endbell and popped out. I have just repaired this motor now by crimping the 2 gold spacers into position on the shaft either side of the rotor, they are a very very tight fit now and will no longer allow the rotor to slip down the shaft. ![]() I also replaced the bearings thanks to Kanzen racing for them. |
