Default Good but cheap li-po's?

Hi,

Lipo's,

I will be needing hard case saddles for my soon to be here B44.1, but what ones ??

I'm not really wanting to buy £95 Reedy, and I know from electric heli flying, some of the cheap lipo's are as good, if not better than some of the branded expensive ones.

Can anybody recommend a good lipo pack that is not to expensive, but will still do the business on the track?

Many thanks,

Rob.

Intellect lipos are good! make sure you get the brca legal ones though. They are near on identical to the vampire cells as well which i have some.

Make sure you get ones which are not too high to fit into the car, as some of them are very tall. Less than 23mm is a good starting point.

Hope this helps
Mark

I use the Intellect 4200 saddles that you can get off ebay from Hong Kong. I believe they also do 5000, 5200 and 6000mAH for less than £50 and are BRCA legal.

6000s won't be legal (5300 max IIRC for BRCA) and max dimensions are 69.5 (x2) by 47 by 25.1

I would personally advise against buying something like LiPos abroad as it can be a real pain in the butt if you have to ship back and prove you didn't cause the issue.

Have a look at the selection at JE Spares

Quite a choice at £70 ish and remember they are offering the discounts at the moment. There are other choices out there for similar money too ... but they don't come as standard with the best service in UK RC retail

I have a set of intellect saddles & vampire saddles, both sets bought at exactly the same time & treated in the same way,the intellect dont balance as quickly as the vampires and although the vampires are 10c lower & 600ma lower I would say the vampires have quite a bit more punch
You pays your money..you takes your choice

I stand corrected on the 6000s

If you're unsure about ordering from abroad, there is a UK seller in sunderland who does the Intellect cells (but I forget who).
