I've been using the micro SR3500 for a couple of years and they are excellent receivers, never given me any hassle.

Sorry, I thought you meant you couldn't find the site at all.

The SR3500 is compatible with the DX3S (your transmitter should work with all DSM and DSM2 surface receivers if it's the "V2" model - DSM Pro may be a no go though).

If it's new it will be the updated version (it was introduced ~ mid-2009).

Captainlip, The SR 3500 is a DSM rx, therefore it will work with both DSM & DSM2 transmitters, (the early versions of the DX3S was DSM, the latter version that was released in Mid 2009 is DSM2) since your DX3S is second hand it could be either DSM or DSM2 which means it is going to work, As a DSM rx is compatible with a DSM and DSM2 Transmitter.

And there is nothing wrong with the SR3300T, I use one and cant fault it, I dont use the Tele.

the reason i need the sr3500 is i have such little space to play with, the 3300 would be used if it had room, at worst i could sell it again if it dont work.

thanks for the help!

Do you have the 3300T rx yet? try to fit that with the rest of the electrics, remember you can mount the rx on its side) if its a no go completely- sell it then get 3500..
