Default Bind plugs

I have ordered a new receiver and bind plug for my radio gear but the bind plug is out of stock.

Obviously I want to get things running asap. From pictures on websites bind plugs look just like male servo plugs with the outer 2 pins connected together and nothing on the middle.

Is this right?

Yup, I just use a bent paper clip since I lost my bind plug.
