Default Suggestions and votes...

We've had 15 suggestions in the box. 9 on the race format and 6 relating to other matters. Some of the suggestions require further clarification and we will be talking to the people that submitted them this week to find out exactly what they are asking for. It is our intention then to put the suggestions to the vote next week (9th of November) with the results being announced shortly after.

Any significant changes resulting from the vote will take effect with the start of the new championships on the 4th of January. Minor changes or changes not directly relating to the race format may be introduced sooner depending on the impact on you, the impact on us or on how easy they are in implement or control.

Regards,
Jon.

Default Comittee vote

I justwanted to say a massive thank you to the comittee for letting everybodys voices be heard - all the updates on FORCC website looks like a massive undertaking & well done to all who contributed!
I'm proud to be a member...a newbie, but a member non-the less!

i second what craig has put can we clarify one thing tho

i read the format to be a grid start based on the weeks before results which is cool

a little confused

Current Format: Take it in turns to start from the front (or guaranteed to be in the first three if we run a full grid system)

can this be explained!

The grid will roll forward the same way it does now. The grid will be staggered so you will move 2 grid spots forward each round i.e 6 to 4 to 2 and 5 to 3 to 1. If there is a 7th place on the grid, the highest place that driver will start is 3rd.

Regards,
Jon.

We did already, but thanks anyway. The suggestion box will be open again in January if you would like to submit a suggestion on changing the format.

Regards,
Jon.

It was all on the voting form. If you didn't understand the question on the form maybe you should have asked at the time!

We've had 20 odd years with this system. I think we'll all be ok. Just move 1 row forward each race and you'll be fine .

Jon.

You could always offer to help out sorting the grids until people get the hang of it..........

Dave I very much doubt 'it'll get slammed back in your face'!

The club needs all the help from the members it can get, the commitee do more than enough so sorting a grid out till peole get the hang of it is surely not that difficult!

It's petit moaning/ non constructive comments that get peoples backs up who
put alot into the club (commitee/active club members), these are peole who we don't want to upset, with out them no club!

Rant over, see you all Wednesday!

I'd have to agree with Mark to be honest, why the silly comments??!!

Just get on with it!! as it has been put to the vote and therefore the people have spoken.. if you don't like it or can't be arsed to help out then why be apart of a race meeting at all?! remember you can't race against yourself...

I, myself, don't mind sorting out the track before and after each heat so the tyres/ropes are in the correct place. I also don't mind setting up a grid (which would take all of 30seconds) especially if people have numbers on and sort of know where they are going..

Scott..

Stagard grid, is it really that complicated?
All you do is stay on the same side of the track and move forward to the next line, moving 2 grid positions.

If you can't work that out you should not be trusted to plug you lipos in.

Good to see people adding the unhelpful 2p worth again.

And Ollie!

Thanks for those with positive comments and offers of help! Nice to note that they outnumber the negatives.....
