What's the difference

Hi I'm just putting a car together ready to race at weekends just as fun I'm gona get sp speedo and want to what the diff is between the sp v.3.0 6.5 motor and the sp sportsman 6.5 is apart from the price ? Would I notice a diff as just a club racer ?many thanks
